1. Account Setup Process

To become a G-Net customer, you must first create an account. A G-Net account provides you with a "myG-Net" versatile account management function and access to the complete range of products and services. To create an account, go to the G-Net website and click on the "Register Here" button. You will have to agree to the G-Net Terms and Conditions on the next page. After accepting the terms, you will be taken to a page where you will enter your account information. Once completed, you will then see a page that will inform you that you have completed the first step in G-Net member registration. From this page, an email will be sent to the email address you have specified. This email will contain your G-Net username and a URL to a page that will allow you to create your G-Net specific password. Reply to the received email at the specified URL, and you will be taken to a page where you will enter your G-Net username and specify a password. From this point, you will have successfully created a G-Net account.

2. Providing Personal Information

Nationality: The field is mandatory. Select your current nationality from the drop-down list.

Marital Status: The field is mandatory. Select your current marital status from the drop-down list.

Gender: The field is mandatory. Select your gender from the drop-down list.

Country of Birth: The field is mandatory. Select your country of birth from the drop-down list.

Date of Birth: The field is mandatory. Select your Date of Birth from the drop-down calendar.

Japanese Name: The field is mandatory. Fill your Japanese name as per passport in katakana.

Given Name: The field is mandatory. Fill your given name as per passport.

Given Name: The field is mandatory. Fill your given name as per passport.

Surname: The field is mandatory. Fill your surname as per passport.

Fill in the Personal Details Form providing your personal information using English alphabet.

3. Verifying Email and Phone Number

Verifying your email address and phone number allows a greater level of security and protection for your account. It's a simple and effective method for ensuring that the only person who has access to your account is you. Email verification is the most basic step to ensuring the security of your account. Email verification is a way of checking that the email address you have provided is valid and that you have access to it. In order to verify your email address, follow the verification link/email that will be sent to the email address you used to sign up. By clicking the link provided, you will be redirected back to the site and should receive notification that your email has been verified. This is usually given via a pop-up. Phone verification is fast becoming the more popular of the two methods. Phone verification is the process of checking that the phone number provided is valid and may belong to the user. This is usually done by sending an SMS to the phone number provided. This SMS usually contains a code and a method for verifying the code. If your phone number is a landline, an automated voice calling system may be used. After you have received the code, you may be required to enter it on site or the code may be a method for auto-filling the verification input. So long as the code is correct, your number will be verified. Generally, accounts with any form of verified phone number have increased security, which provides benefits such as the ability to use in-game cash or giving you the peace of mind to save and remember a password without the concern of forgetting it.

4. Setting Up Account Security

Using the same password on another different server or game can also lead to your account being compromised. Make sure you remember where you use your account name and its password. It is highly advised you do not use simple to guess passwords. Simple passwords can be easily cracked with tools that are widely available. Which brings us to our next point. An account thief will generally seek out accounts with good characters. Accounts with good characters usually have valuable items. One of the most secure places for your items is your character's inventory. Utilizing a Team storage to transfer items around your different characters will reduce the chance that your items can be stolen. Make sure the last location of your items reside in a location where there is a small chance they can be stolen or lost.

When creating an account, you must also uphold the security of your account. It is important to remember that account security is your responsibility. When you set up your account, you will be given the chance to add a second password and register your email. The email you register to your character will be used in case you forget your password. If you forget your password, you can request a new temporary password to your email. The second password is your final line of defense. If someone gets a hold of your account name and password, they will be unable to get onto your account without the second password. It is highly advised you do both of these steps. An account with a second password and a registered email are far less likely to be compromised. If the case arises that your account has been compromised, our customer support team will require the registered account email to investigate the situation.

5. Completing Account Setup

An unset password is initially created when you create a customer account for the store. This password is stored in encrypted format and therefore cannot be retrieved if you forget it. If you wish to set a new password, to something you can remember, click the "Your Account" link, click the "Change your account profile, contact information, or password" link, and then click the "Set/Change Password" button. Now enter your new password and click "Save Changes".

You might notice that there is another access point to manage your profile and contact information. If you click the "Your Account" link while logged into the webstore, you will see a page with links to manage your account profile and address book. At this point, we have covered everything in the account profile, and therefore your account setup is complete.

To provide a physical address, click the "Manage Your Addresses" link. Now select the address you would like to set as your default shipping address and click the "edit" button. In the address entry form, enter your address and click "Save Changes".

To provide a fax number, enter it in the textbox and click "Save Changes".

In this section, you will complete your account setup by providing a fax number, physical address, and any other information that is not currently in your account profile. All of the information below is optional, but having this information in your account profile can save you time later when you are entering a new shipping address. This is because we will automatically populate the shipping address fields with your current default shipping address, but it will not be saved with the order. This is only a time-saving feature, and you will still have the chance to modify the shipping address on a per-order basis.
